Two sociology majors win Kennamer Award

Team Sociology is proud to announce that junior Zoie Webb and sophomore Mora Rehm are this years’s recipients of the Laura D. Kennamer Scholarship!

Zoie Webb is a Sociology and Political Science double major, enrolled in the Public Administration 3+2 program. After graduation, she plans to further pursue her research interests in gender inequality in politics through a graduate degree in Sociology. 

Mora Rehm is a sophomore Sociology and Statistics Major at Eastern Kentucky University. As an aspiring Applied Sociologist and AmeriCorps Alumna, her research interests center around social justice, volunteerism, and education policy.

The Laura D. Kennamer Scholarship Fund, "aids and fosters the educational experiences of students attending Eastern Kentucky University" and focuses on students in social and behavioral sciences.
