Sociology as a Second Major
Consider Sociology as a second major! It is an ideal second major which can be completed without staying additional time at EKU. It also provides important job skills highly demanded in the job market.
Taking on a second major can be done in 30 class hours. That means you can finish a second major while completing your required 120 class hours for graduation. Plus, several of our courses can count as gen-ed requirements!
Employers want workers with skills that go beyond just one discipline. And they want students with creativity, knowledge of the real world, analytical skills, critical thinking, the ability to communicate orally and in writing, and the ability to locate and organize information.Sociology as a second major will tell them you have been trained in just those skills.
